The brewery Boyz site will hopefully allow you to into the weird and wonderful life's of the gang. We all have our own stories and information on how we became interested in the western scene and how we got involved into the american civil war side of it and how the gang was created.The name came around while being at a BWA weekend and not knowing what to call ourselves when entering the best authentic camp so we came up with a name that suited us and what we do best wich is drink; so we called ourselves The Brewery Boyz and the camp was to be known as Camp keg.
There are numerous members of the brewery boyz and keggets but unlike other clubs and associations we have no admition fee and no money ever crosses hands, the gang only contribute to the cost of certain things which shall later be revealed.We are purley in it for the love and fun of it all.
Members of the "BBs" initially started out as the three founding men and one girl.
Although dave did have a better half she was not able to attend the weekend of the birth of the Brewery Boyz but shortly joined and the name
was appointed to her for reasons im not allowed to say :) .
We portray the 8th Texas Calvary during the early to mid part of the American civil war, our uniforms are generally grey or butternut with black edgings and stripes, although conventional yellow stripes are allowed when in scruffs. The camp is structured around the standard set up of a calvary unit of that period with one commanding officer his junior officers NCO's and calvalrymen. In addition we also have a Surgeon and a Provost Marshall.
